Kangal

A guardian by nature.
Character rooted in pedigree.

Experience
since 1991
We have been members of the Polish Kennel Club for more than three decades. Since 2016, we have specialised exclusively in breeding Kangals.

Turkish bloodlines
Our Kangals descend from old Turkish bloodlines such as Panter Cobra and Dali. We are committed to preserving the breed’s correct type, strength and temperament.

Health and a stable temperament
We plan every mating with careful consideration of the parents’ health, conformation, pedigree and natural predispositions. We raise our puppies with care and provide them with appropriate socialisation.

Driven by love and respect for the Kangal breed
Strength, composure and character rooted in pedigree
Bryllantowy Zakątek is a family-run Kangal kennel managed by Jolanta and Krzysztof Bryll. Our journey in the world of dogs began many years ago—we have been members of the Polish Kennel Club since 1991. The experience gained over the years allowed us to consciously choose a breed that best reflects our values and our approach to responsible breeding.
Since 2016, we have focused exclusively on Kangals. We were captivated by their exceptional balance: immense strength combined with composure, independence, intelligence and an extraordinary devotion to their family and the territory entrusted to them.

An ancient guardian breed from Turkey
Kangal – a natural protector and guardian
The Kangal originates from Turkey and is a breed deeply rooted in the country’s pastoral culture. It is not a herding dog. For generations, its role has been to remain with sheep and other livestock, monitor the surroundings and respond independently to emerging threats.
Kangals protected flocks from wolves and other predators. They were able to work across vast areas, often without direct commands from humans. This required courage, endurance, intelligence and the ability to make independent decisions.
The FCI breed standard describes the Kangal as a large, powerfully built, courageous and stable dog, free from unjustified aggression. The breed is also adapted to working in harsh conditions and withstanding both high and low temperatures.
Calm, yet always alert
Gentle with children and other animals
Intelligent and independent
Courageous and resilient in harsh conditions

From the very first days of life
How do we raise our puppies?
We provide every litter with attentive care, ensuring the puppies’ health, proper development and preparation for life in their new homes.
Attentive puppy care
The puppies develop under the breeder’s constant care, in safe conditions suited to their age.
Early socialisation
They are gradually introduced to people, animals, everyday sounds and new situations that help build their confidence.
Temperament assessment
We get to know each puppy’s temperament so that we can match it with the most suitable future owner.
Breeder support
After the puppy leaves for its new home, we remain in contact and offer guidance on nutrition, training and the Kangal’s development.

Current and planned Kangal litters
We plan every litter with great care and responsibility, analysing the pedigree, health, conformation and temperament of the prospective parents. We want our puppies to go to knowledgeable owners who understand the needs of a large and independent guardian dog.
